Apple Announces Facebook Integration With IOS6, OSX Mountain Lion
Apple officially confirmed that Facebook will be integrated into its iOS 6 and OSX Mountain Lion operating systems for mobile devices and Macintosh desktops, respectively, at its Apple Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) in San Francisco Monday. Sister blog Inside Facebook reported the following Facebook integration features: iOS 6 will offer a direct "tap to post" option, similar to Apple's current integration with Twitter.
