Facebook Named One Of The Most Prolific Online Trackers
If you've ever been surfing Facebook and got the feeling that somebody's watching you, you might be right. The Evidon Global Tracker Report, a semiannual analysis of the ad tracking agency, listed Facebook among the top companies tracking users. Facebook Marketing Sector Contracts Further: Syncapse Acquires Clickable
Companies in the Facebook marketing and advertising sector continue to swallow each other up, and the latest deal in the sector surfaced with Thursday's announcement that social performance management platform Syncapse will acquire social and search advertising management and intelligence platform Clickable. Texas U.S. District Court Dismisses IPO-Related Lawsuit Vs. Facebook
One of the many court cases involving Facebook's troubled initial public offering was dismissed Wednesday, as a U.S. District Court in Texas ruled that sufficient grounds were not presented to file a lawsuit. Facebook Joins The Fight Against 'Bad Ads'
Facebook has entered into an alliance with fellow Web giants Google, Twitter, and AOL in an effort to fight ads that deliver malware, scam users, or sell counterfeit items.
