Internet-telephony platform Vox.io said it will launch a new version of its service that will allow users to chat with their Facebook friends from within its interface. According to TechCrunch, users will also be able to call their Facebook friends by simply clicking on links. Perhaps seeking an answer to Facebook's acquisition of photo-sharing application Instagram, Google announced Monday -- via a post on Google Plus by Senior Vice President of Engineering Vic Gundotra -- that it acquired Nik Software, parent of iOS photo-sharing app Snapseed.
