Facebook Updates Design Of Want Button
Tom Waddington has been quite the busy developer, discovering references to social commerce within Facebook's code, as well as an XFBML tag for a want button. And now, the look of the want button has been updated. Waddington told Mashable: The button has been updated since last week, so it's definitely been worked on. This shows that it's still under active development, rather than being a ditched project. Readers: Are you looking forward to... read more>>

The survey (distributed to 2,200 brand... read more>>

Ireland President Michael Higgins To Rely On Facebook, Google To Stay In Touch With Youth
Facebook got off to somewhat of a rocky start in Ireland, with its privacy issues running afoul of the country's Office of the Data Protection Commissioner, but the social network has been in better standing with the government there of late, being used by the Ireland Referendum Commission to register voters earlier this year, and being called out by President Michael Higgins in a speech earlier this week.
